The short version: We collect what we need to take your reservation, ship your kit, and send you the emails you signed up for. We don't sell your personal information for money. Advertising pixels on this site do share limited browsing data with ad platforms — and you can opt out of that below. Unsubscribing is always one click.

What we collect

• Contact and order details — your email (and name, if you give it) when you join the Founders Lab list; your name, shipping address, and order contents when you reserve.
• Payment — handled entirely by our payment providers (Eximbay, PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
• Site and ad data — standard analytics (pages viewed, device type) and advertising pixels (Meta, TikTok) that record events like "viewed the landing page" or "started checkout."
• Perial Panel responses — survey answers you choose to submit after delivery, linked to your founder number.

How we use it

• To take, confirm, and ship your reservation — including the weekly Batch Report and required service emails.
• To send marketing email only if you subscribed, and every one has a one-click unsubscribe.
• To measure whether our ads work, via the pixels above.
• To improve the product — Panel feedback shapes the formula and what we build next.

We keep marketing quiet by design: a few letters, not a feed. Unsubscribing never affects your order emails.

Who processes your data

Service providers who handle data on our behalf, under their own contractual and legal obligations:

• Shopify — store platform and checkout
• Eximbay / PayPal — payment processing
• PNPLINE — fulfillment from our California warehouse (name and address, to ship your kit)
• Email service (Shopify Email; Klaviyo if adopted) — sending the emails described above
• Meta / TikTok — advertising measurement via pixels

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as listed here, or if the law requires it.

Advertising pixels and your choices

Pixel-based ad measurement may count as "sharing" personal information under California law. You can opt out any time:

• Email founders@faroprecisionlab.com with the subject "Do not share" — we'll exclude your data from ad audiences we control.
• Use your browser's cookie controls or Global Privacy Control; we honor opt-out preference signals where the law requires.
• Meta and TikTok also offer in-platform ad preference controls.

Cookies

Essential cookies make the cart and checkout work. Analytics and advertising cookies are described above and can be blocked in your browser without breaking your order.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or opt out of sharing. Email founders@faroprecisionlab.com — we verify by matching your email address, respond within the legally required window, and never penalize you for exercising a right.

Retention and security

We keep order records as long as commerce and tax law requires, and marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Data is stored with the providers above under industry-standard protections; no one can honestly promise perfect security, so we minimize what we collect instead.

Children

This site sells skincare to adults. It is not directed to anyone under 16, and we never knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Where data lives

We operate from the Republic of Korea and use U.S.-based services; your data may be processed in both places under this policy.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above updates and subscribers are notified by email.
